17,231 visitors during the three-day event. Show manager Roger Saint-
Laurent declared himself satisfied with the results of the show. “I
don’t deny that we were nervous on Sunday, given the situation with
the Superbowl broadcast and knowing the enthusiasm of people in Quebec
for football.”
Friday was buzzing with plans for a press conference at the show in
which transport minister Sam Hamad would offer “good news” concerning
motorcycle insurance. The press conference was cancelled at the last
minute because of a technicality but an announcement is expected in
the next few days.
A year ago the Quebec City Motorcycle and ATV show had an attendance
